• We are looking for Tree Climbers– Arborists who are experienced in tree removal, pruning and trimming. DZ endorsement, hydro license, and crane work license are assets. Experience operating a boom truck/aerial lift is preferred. Previous professional climbing experience is required. Our compensation for climbers ranges from $18/hr to $30/hr depending on experience.
• We also need a professional groundsman with previous experience in tree care. Compensation range from $14/hr  up to $20/hr. Previous tree work experience and roping experience is required. Must know how to operate a chainsaw and a wood-chipper. DZ driving license is required. Must be willing to learn additional skills and undergo additional training.
• If you do not have the qualifications, but still would like to be a part of our team, you can apply for the groundsman-helper position. This is an ideal position for those willing to learn about tree work and  who wish to jump start their career in arboriculture. No previous experience is necessary, but you must be physically fit and love working outside to be considered for this position.
• We are also looking for a ISA certified Arborist. The main responsibility for ISA arborist will be providing quotes, consultation, preparation of arborist reports. The compensation for Experienced and knowledgeable arborist start from $55,000/year

Plant Health Care Technician Crew Leader

• Candidates must possess a valid commercial pesticide applicator/exterminator licence.
• A valid driver’s licence with a clean driver abstract is required.
• Previous experience working as a PHC/IPM technician using injectable pesticides is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an asset.
• In addition to possessing a valid commercial pesticide applicator/exterminator licence as a Crew Leader you must be an ISA Certified Arborist.

As part of Tree Doctors onboarding and orientation all new hires will be provided training on the safety and technical aspects of injectable pesticides (TreeAzin, ImaJet, AceCaps, etc.) in preparation for the requirement that he or she inspects all equipment, tools, vehicles, and product for any and all deficiency; bringing to their immediate supervisor’s attention concerns and/or issues.

Landscape Technician

• A valid driver's licence and clean abstract IS MANDATORY
• PHC/IPM Certification/Extermination Licence or very close to acquiring your certification.
• High level of PHC/IPM horticultural knowledge
• Strong Plant ID knowledge.
• Adapt and implement quality control procedures.
• Applicants must be customer-focused and take pride in their work. The ideal candidate must possess above-average communication and interpersonal skills and a background in horticulture.
• Computer skills are required.
